Clyde Waterfront

I’m frequently asked about the sites and buildings that line the River Clyde westwards from the centre of Glasgow. This former industrial corridor is currently undergoing huge redevelopment to create housing, business and leisure facilities, but the sheer scale and pace of change can make it difficult to grasp exactly what is happening and where. The Clyde Waterfront website explains the background to the project, and includes area maps, downloadable brochures, contact details, and images of the individual buildings that make up Britain’s single most comprehensive programme of regeneration. For those seeking a more historical perspective on the waterfront, GSA’s library can provide visual and textual information.
