Dudley Zoo

The contribution of London Zoo to the introduction of Modernist architecture to 1930s Britain has been well-documented, but the more complete and slightly later Tecton buildings at Dudley Zoo in the West Midlands are much less well-known. The Twentieth Century Society has drawn attention to the 'at risk' status of this comprehensive collection of structures and the dangers posed by insensitive redevelopment.
