Sustainable Cities

The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) is leading a sustainable cities project aimed at rethinking the way cities are designed and used in the face of climate change. The project's website, which brings together businesses and eight major English cities, has just been launched and will be worth keeping an eye on. It currently includes background articles; the beginnings of a manual to help strategic decision-makers in cities use urban design and management to respond to the challenges of climate change; and links to experts in the field.
