Paul Trevor's East End of London archive

This fine online photographic archive is not strictly architectural, but it will be of interest to urban designers, and here at Glasgow School of Art, to those architecture students working on their Stage 2 and Stage 3 Built Environment essays. It presents 500 of Paul Trevor's evocative photographs of life in East London's Spitalfields from the 1970s to the 1990s, a period of rapid social and physical change. The database, which is freely available via the Visual Arts data Service (VADS) is searchable and offers high quality images.
