More digital maps

The National Library of Scotland has added to its already superb collection of online digitised maps of Scotland. More than 400 regional maps of the country, including Ordnance Survey one-inch to the mile maps from 1856-1912, Bartholomew half-inch maps from 1926-1935, and Ordnance Survey quarter-inch maps from 1921-1923, are now freely available. All the maps are zoomable to reveal a wealth of fascinating detail about the Scottish urban and rural landscape of the period.
