ETFE: material for an architectural revolution

From time to time I’m asked for information about the newish architectural material ETFE: the transparent, teflon-like plastic which has gained recognition in projects such as the Eden Centre and the Watercube at the Beijing Olympics. Surprisingly little has been written about ETFE that is easy to digest, but I’ve come across a good basic introduction in BusinessWeek magazine which can be viewed in full on the web and which provides a link to an image gallery of projects which have used ETFE:
