Exploring the Digital City

The Geddes Institute for Urban Research at the University of Dundee has a website which presents a 2006 AHRC-funded workshop series examining the impact of digital technology and media on the design and use of urban space. The workshops brought together a wide range of researchers from across the arts and social sciences with a view to seeding future collaboration. The four workshops are: New Media + New Space; Media Ecology + Freedom Of Speech; Policing + Politics; Urban Space + Infrastructure. The website records each workshop's programme together with PDF transcripts of the sessions.
