Caledonia Road Church restoration?

A bold £500,000 fundraising campaign has been launched by the Alexander Thomson Society to refurbish the architect's long-derelict Caledonia Road Church, in Glasgow's Gorbals. In addition to conserving the remains of the church, the project would provide a cafe, studio spaces and apartments. Alexander Thomson (1817-1875) is Glasgow's second most famous architect after Mackintosh, and the GSA library has an excellent collection of material relating to his work, including a good selection of student dissertations.
