"A guide to the new ruins of Great Britain"

We've bought a copy of architectural critic Owen Hatherley's new book, which explores the urban architectural legacy of the New Labour years. The book's only Scottish chapter features a visit to Glasgow, which is described as having 'a liking for shiny tat'. If you have the stomach for more of Hatherley's scathing humour, you'll find the book on our library shelves at 720.941 HAT.
